Established in Montréal in 2018, INGÉROP began with the independent review of all system design activities for the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) on behalf of the PMM group (Alstom – Atkins Réalis). Since then, the company has expanded its expertise to cover all aspects of sustainable mobility, with a strong focus on railway and public transport systems – including signaling, electrification, and system integration.
Their scope also includes the electrification of transport (buses, private vehicles, and rail), as well as major civil engineering projects such as the Fraser Tunnel in Vancouver, the Hippolyte-Lafontaine Tunnel, and the Port of Contrecoeur in Montréal, specializing in complex structures like cable-stayed bridges and immersed tunnels.
After six years in Canada, INGÉROP:
- Operates offices in Montreal and Toronto.
- Employs 14 professionals, including six senior engineers in system integration, electrification, structures, and geotechnics.
- Delivers cost-efficient projects through six pillars: technical knowledge, agility, integration, innovation & creativity, project governance, and collaboration.
- Has participated in major projects across Canada such as Ontario Line, GO Expansion, REM & Blue Line Extension (Montréal), Valley & Capital Lines (Edmonton), Red & Blue Lines (Calgary), Confederation Line Stage 2 (Ottawa), and the Port of Contrecoeur.
