The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada is pleased to welcome Barcelona Gourmet as a new Gold Member.
Barcelona Gourmet is a Spanish specialty food store on the Danforth offering ready-to-go dishes such as paellas, Spanish empanadas and churros, along with traditional pastries like tarta de Santiago, Catalan chocolate cream cake and tres leches. The store also carries a wide range of traditional Spanish products in-store and online, complemented by a Latin section featuring salsas, chiles and more.
Born during the pandemic, Barcelona Gourmet is a small family business bringing together Spanish and Mexican heritage to share the gourmet food of both cultures with the community. What started as a grocery-style store with takeout classics like paella and tamales has grown into a beloved spot on the Danforth, reflecting the family’s belief in adapting, persevering and supporting small businesses.
