Last Friday, March 15th, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada had the pleasure of attending the grand official opening of The District Padel, one of our Platinum members and one of the most anticipated clubs in the Mississauga area. An event where sport and networking came together to bring to life a unique space at 1550 Caterpillar Road, where padel and pickleball share the spotlight in a first-class facility.
The evening was accompanied by Spanish gastronomy by Santa Marta Tapas Bar, another one of our members, who provided the perfect culinary touch to a gathering that brought together professionals, entrepreneurs and sport enthusiasts from across the region. A combination that truly reflects the values that define us as a community: connection, celebration and pride in who we are.
The day kicked off with a lively networking session where attendees had the opportunity to meet, share their passions and celebrate together the birth of this new club. Shortly after, each and every one of the founders of The District Padel took the floor to share the effort, excitement and vision behind the project, making it clear that this club is born with a community spirit and a drive to become a benchmark for padel and pickleball in Ontario. Following the official opening, guests continued to enjoy the networking while many wasted no time in stepping onto the courts and starting this new chapter on the right foot.
The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada is proud to have members like The District Padel, who believe in sport as a driver of community, networking and wellbeing. El pasado viernes, 15 de marzo, la Cámara de Comercio de España en Canadá tuvo el placer de acudir a la gran apertura oficial de The District Padel, uno de nuestros miembros Platinum y uno de los clubes más esperados de la zona de Mississauga. Un evento donde el deporte y el networking se unieron para dar vida a un espacio único en 1550 Caterpillar Road, donde el pádel y el pickleball comparten protagonismo en unas instalaciones de primer nivel.
La jornada estuvo acompañada de gastronomía española de la mano de Santa Marta Tapas Bar, otro de nuestros miembros, que puso el toque culinario perfecto a una velada que reunió a profesionales, emprendedores y aficionados al deporte de toda la región. Una combinación que refleja los valores que nos definen como comunidad: el encuentro, la celebración y el orgullo de lo nuestro.
La jornada arrancó con un animado networking donde los asistentes tuvieron la oportunidad de conocerse, compartir sus aficiones y celebrar juntos el nacimiento de este nuevo club. Posteriormente, todos y cada uno de los fundadores de The District Padel tomaron la palabra para compartir el esfuerzo, la ilusión y la visión que hay detrás de este proyecto, dejando claro que este club nace con vocación de comunidad y con ganas de convertirse en un referente del pádel y el pickleball en Ontario. Tras el acto oficial, los asistentes siguieron disfrutando del networking mientras muchos no dudaron en estrenar las canchas y empezar con buen pie esta nueva etapa.
