We are Spain’s flag carrier and one of the oldest airlines in the world, founded in 1927 and headquartered in Madrid. As a member of the Oneworld global alliance and part of International Airlines Group (IAG), we operate an extensive international network across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East, with our hub at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport.
As part of our ongoing long-haul expansion strategy, we are proud to have launched in June 2026 our first-ever direct service between Spain and Canada, connecting Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) with Madrid–Barajas (MAD), operated several times per week with our modern Airbus A321XLR. This new route marks a significant milestone for Spanish-Canadian connectivity, and reflects our commitment to bringing Spain and Canada closer together — fostering trade, tourism, and investment between both countries.
