NIS 2: Notifications for Important and Essential Entities are Underway
As outlined in the ACN’s timeline, many companies have already received—or will soon receive—an official notification via certified email (PEC) confirming their inclusion in the registry of “important” or “essential” entities.
What should you do if you’ve received the notification? What are the next steps and deadlines?
We are now entering Phase 2 of the registration process. This step requires entering additional information into the portal as specified in Article 7, paragraph 4. It also involves updating the contact details required under Article 38, paragraph 5—specifically, listing each individual’s role within the organization along with their current contact information, including email addresses and phone numbers.
The deadline for completing this step is May 31.
