To close out the first day of SIAL Canada, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Canada hosted an intimate and lively dinner at Santa Marta Bar y Tapas. The gathering brought together representatives from Spanish companies such as Lord Spices, Solfarmers, and Redondo Iglesias, as well as Canadian businesses working with Spanish products, including the founders of La Lola restaurant from Kitchener.
We were also joined by Carmen Dengra, a valued member of our Food and Beverage Committee, along with Dre Pao — Canadian-Italian artist and entrepreneur, whose work bridges creativity and branding in the food industry, and Verónica, founder and CEO of Vezorla, a family-run company dedicated to bringing premium organic extra virgin olive oil from Andalusia to the Canadian market.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share experiences, and celebrate the vibrant presence of Spanish gastronomy in Canada.
